Sound Credit Union Unveils New Brand, Logo, Purpose Statement, While…

TACOMA, Wash.–Sound Credit Union here has introduced an updated brand, logo and purpose statement.

The $1.5-billion Sound said the new logo symbolizes togetherness, and reflects the indigenous colors of the Pacific Northwest. Its new purpose statement is the “Power in We—standing with you through all waves of life,” which the credit union said provides members with a greater awareness of the support and intentionality Sound offers, while giving employees a clear roadmap for how to live the values of the organization, according to the Northwest Credit Union Association.

The new logo, which symbolizes “togetherness,” reflects the colors of the Pacific Northwest, and is similar to a school of fish — “each unique in its own size and color,” Sound CU said.

Sound CU is now working to update its branches with the new theme.
