MEDFORD, Ore.—Rogue Credit Union raised more than $24,000 for Rogue Regional Medical Center (RRMC), a local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital, through a month-long Skip-A-Payment promotion.
The total includes $10,000 from the CO-OP Miracle Match program. The credit union’s Skip-A-Payment promotion allowed members to skip a qualifying payment in the run-up to the holidays. For the last two years, Rogue has included an option for members to donate to Credit Unions for Kids (CU4K) on the form members fill out to skip a payment.
“This year blew last year away,” said Jim DeBoer, vice president of marketing for Rogue.
More than 7,000 Rogue members collectively donated more than $14,000 during the campaign.
