Sioux Valley Community Credit Union Office Robbed

SIOUX CITY, Iowa—A branch of Sioux Valley Community Credit Union was robbed last week by a man who fled with an undisclosed amount of money, KCAU9 reported.

The Sioux City Police Department was notified at 3:37 p.m. Thursday of a robbery at the credit union in downtown Sioux City. When officers arrived at the scene, employees said a man had just robbed them, KCAU9 said.

The police department said that the suspect is a Black man about five-feet-four inches to five-feet-six inches tall, and weighing about 140-160 pounds. Police did not provide a photo.

The suspect allegedly walked in with his face covered and demanded money from one of the tellers. He then exited the bank and left the area with an “undisclosed amount of money,” KCAU9 said.

Officials are still investigating the robbery.
