MARSHFIELD, Wis.–Simplicity Credit Union, which recently changed its name from Central City Credit Union, held a ribbon cutting ceremony at its newly remodeled branch featuring its new brand.
One day later, Simplicity held a groundbreaking ceremony for the remodel/new addition of its Stevens Point facility and remodel of its Plover branch, thus continuing its momentum of rebranding its branches.
Simplicity Credit Union reached out to La Macchia Group to help it infuse its new brand into its existing spaces and to provide a more efficient layout for their retail delivery. Queuing was an important element during the design phase, which La Macchia Group addressed by using strategically placed flooring materials and the installation of marketing kiosks to lead members down appropriate paths. To emphasize their new brand and modern, fresh look, the traditional teller line was eliminated and replaced by teller pods, which allow for a more efficient and personalized experience for the member. The upcoming projects in Stevens Point and Plover will reflect the new brand in the space design and environment, according to the company.
Staying true to its Wisconsin roots, Simplicity Credit Union held an outdoor cookout for its guests, which included brats, sauerkraut, and a Wisconsin favorite, cheese curds. Members from SCU’s board, members of the Chamber of Commerce, staff and Simplicity CU members all attended the event.
