BOSTON–Mark Sievewright, who recently stepped down as chairman and division president of Credit Union Solutions at Fiserv, has launched a new research and consulting firm to provide strategic insights and trusted advice to credit unions.
“Credit unions are navigating unprecedented changes in the delivery and distribution of financial services to their members driven by rapid advances in technology, regulatory changes, demographic shifts and new market entrants, notably Fintech start-ups,” said Sievewright, who will now lead Sievewright and Associates. “I’m delighted to be focused on providing strategic insights and trusted advice to help credit unions develop and execute successful business and technology strategies that drive growth and capitalize on innovation.”
Sievewright said the new firm will offer credit unions a range of strategic planning, research and consulting services, including a new annual membership service called the Strategic Leadership Series (SLS). The SLS will provide clients with actionable insights on industry trends and a Strategic Planning Framework report for credit unions to use as the foundation for their strategic planning work.
Sievewright has more than 30 years of financial services experience, including senior leadership positions at HSBC, MasterCard International (where he led the firm’s commercial services division in the EMEA region), Payment Systems Inc. (where he served as CEO), TowerGroup (where he served as CEO) and Fiserv.
