Shot Fired During Robbery Of Arizona FCU Branch

GLENDALE, Ariz.—Two armed white men wearing bandanas over their faces robbed a branch of Arizona Federal Credit Union here, one discharging his firearm in the process.

According to Glendale police the two men entered the credit union and one fired a handgun into the air, with the bullet striking the ceiling. The suspect then showed his handgun to a teller and demanded money. The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of cash.

More than 20 people, members and staff, were inside the credit union at the time but no one was harmed.

The suspects—described as 5-feet-10-inches to 6-feet tall, medium builds, in their 20s—fled in silver sedan that was later found burned in a parking lot. The suspects are still at large.
