DEER PARK, Texas—Shell FCU here has selected Episys solution offered by Symitar, a unit of Jack Henry & Associates, Inc., as its new core processor.

The credit union, which said it did part of its due-diligence during Symitar’s Educational Conference in San Diego, said it also was impressed with Symitar’s PowerOn Marketplace, a collaborative environment for its clients to securely exchange custom-created programs and applications that improve Episys' functionality and performance. PowerOn Marketplace has 2,178 active credit union professionals and more than 8,000 custom programming solutions downloaded to date, the company said.
