WESTBROOK, Maine—Shared branch activity in Maine was up by 25% during 2014, according to the Maine CU League.
The 169 locations that are part of the Maine CU Shared Branch Network averaged nearly 200,000 transactions per month during 2014, the league said. The MCUL added that its microsite was responsible for 40% of the daily online visitors to its sites, as people looked for a branch near them.
The site has been updated to find locations on mobile geo-locator maps, and a video has been produced to illustrate the volume of branches and SURF locations available in Maine. Shared branching in Maine is offered by CO-OP Financial Services, which offers more than 5,000 locations available.
