Sentinel FCU Names Interim CEO

ELLSWORTH AFB, S.D.–Sentinel FCU has named an interim CEO.

The $165.7-million Sentinel Federal said it has appointed Dorothy Voorhees to serve in the interim role following the resignation of Keith Robbennolt.

The appointment was first reported by the Dakotas Credit Association.

The credit union said Voorhees brings “with her a proven track record of leadership and financial expertise.”

Vorhees has served as CFO at the 9,400-member SFCU since 2018.

‘Well-Versed in Intricacies’

“Voorhees is well-versed in the intricacies of the financial industry,” the Dakotas Credit Union Association said. “Her background includes extensive experience in cash flow management, interest rate risk management, budgeting, compliance, and strategic planning.”

Before joining Sentinel FCU, she was the CFO at a local community bank for eleven years and accounting manager at Black Hills FCU for four years prior.
Voorhees holds an AACSB Accreditation Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Applied Management from Black Hills State University, as well as a bachelor of science in accounting and business management from the same institution.

‘Unwavering Commitment’
“We are thrilled to appoint Dorothy as our Interim CEO,” said Board Chair Ben Treadwell in a statement. “Her leadership, expertise, and unwavering commitment to our members make her the ideal candidate to lead Sentinel FCU during this transitional period.”
