WASHINGTON—The Senate remains in session this week while House members are back home in their districts.
“This gives credit union advocates an opportunity to connect with lawmakers one-on-one to advocate for industry priorities,” America’s Credit Unions said.
In this this week’s primaries, the trade group said it will be monitoring elections in Virginia and Oklahoma, where there are eight credit union-backed candidates in races. America’s Credit Unions PAC is also backing Republican Mike Dugan in the 3rd congressional district primary in the Georgia runoff today.
ACU noted that Credit union-backed candidates have a more than 98% success rate in the 2024 cycle.
