WASHINGTON—The Senate today will hold the second of two hearings this week that are aimed at addressing regulatory relief.
The U.S. Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee will be holding the “Regulatory Relief for Community Banks and Credit Unions” this morning. Two people will testify on behalf of credit unions. Ed Templeton, CEO of SRP FCU, is representing NAFCU, while Wally Murray, CEO of Greater Nevada CU, will be testifying on behalf of CUNA.
The same committee held a similarly titled hearing earlier this week at which Larry Fazio, director of NCUA’s Office of Examination and Insurance, appeared.
