MADISON, Wis.—Stephanie Sievers, CEO of the $108-million ANECA FCU in Shreveport, La., has won a contested election for CUNA's District 3, Class A board seat.
Paul Hughes, CEO of Greenville FCU in South Carolina had also challenged for the seat. Also elected to the CUNA board were Gary Furtado, president/CEO, Navigant CU; Rod Staatz, president/CEO, SECU, Linthicum, Md.; Patrick La Pine, president/CEO, League of Southeastern Credit Unions and Affiliates; Peter Dzuris, president/CEO, Northland Area FCU; Patrick Jury, president/CEO, Iowa Credit Union League; Winona Nava, president/CEO, Guadalupe CU; and Brett Martinez, president/CEO, Redwood CU, Santa Rosa, Calif.
