LEESBURG, Fla. – A Florida credit union was forced to turn away one visitor to a branch here.
An alligator slithered through the drive-through at a branch of Addition Financial Credit Union. The branch is not far from several bodies of water, including the Lake Harris Conservation Area and Lake Griffin.
Alligators are common through most of central and southern Florida.
“As it turns out, the scaly surprise visitor did not have an account with us, and eventually moved on without incident,” a spokesperson told local media.
