INDIANAPOLIS—Two Indiana credit unions have completed their merger.
The $1.6-billion Indiana Members Credit Union said it has now completed its merger with the $9-million All Seasons Federal Credit Union, also based in Indianapolis.
Merger discussions began after Carrier Corp. announced in February of 2016 that it would be closing its manufacturing plant in Indianapolis and laying off approximately 2,100 workers. All Seasons FCU solely served the Carrier plant, and operated one branch inside the facility.
Members of All Seasons will now have access to CU services at any of 25 IMCU locations. The staff of All Seasons is also being retained.
“We are pleased to welcome Carrier Corporation employees and All Seasons Federal Credit Union members to our family,” said Ron Collier, president and CEO of Indiana Members Credit Union. “Credit unions were founded on a people helping people philosophy. Assisting these employees through an extremely difficult time was the right thing to do.”
All Seasons Federal Credit Union was originally chartered on June 10, 1969 as Bryant Employees Federal Credit Union by a group of Bryant Heating and Cooling employees.
