MOLINE, Ill.–Two credit unions here are merging.
The $8-million Salt Creek Credit Union said it will merge into the $562-million Vibrant Credit Union effective Feb. 1.
“Vibrant is happy to share our state-of-the-art technology and one of a kind culture with new additions to our staff and membership base,” Matt McCombs, president and CEO of Vibrant CU, said in a statement. “We’re living proof that banking is serious, but it doesn’t have to be boring. We can’t wait to introduce this philosophy and culture.”
Salt Creek’s single office in Westchester will become a branch of Vibrant as part of the merger.
