LAUREL, Mont.–SEG Federal Credit Union has named a new president and CEO.
The $23.5-million SEG FCU has selected Danielle Kopp to lead the organization. Kopp, who has been with the credit union since 1996, had been serving as vice president. She replaces Janice Lehman, who plans to retire at the end of June.
“We chose to promote Danielle because her work ethic and knowledge of the credit union impressed us,” said Chairman George Maas. “Danielle was initially hired as a teller, and over the years she’s taken on additional responsibilities, completed the necessary certifications, and been eager to help the credit union advance. Now she knows the credit union from top to bottom and is in a great position to lead SEG into the future.”
Dedicated to Community
According to the credit union, Kopp is a long-time resident of Laurel and knows the community and the SEG FCU membership well. Raising her two children with her husband, she has dedicated a great deal of time to the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) and the children and families it has impacted. Over the years she has served on three local PTA boards and served as VP of leadership and VP-membership for the Montana PTA.
“I know what it’s like to struggle to make ends meet,” Kopp said, “so I identify with many of our members and am committed to helping them reach their financial goals.”
SEG Federal Credit Union has approximately 1,857 members.
