Ryan Grund To Succeed Longtime Cumberland County FCU CEO Scott Harriman

FALMOUTH, Maine—Cumberland County FCU has named longtime executive Ryan Grund as its next president and CEO, effective July 1, Mainebiz reported.

Grund, who has served as chief financial officer since 2013, will succeed Scott Harriman, who is retiring after 36 years with the credit union. The organization said the appointment reflects its focus on leadership continuity, member service and community stewardship.

A Certified Public Accountant, Grund joined the $490-million credit union after earning his master’s degree from the University of New Hampshire. According to the report, he has played a key role in strengthening the institution’s financial foundation and supporting sustainable growth during his tenure as CFO.

“I am grateful to the board for their trust and honored to lead the credit union into its next chapter,” Grund said in a statement. “From its beginnings on Harold Mason’s front porch in 1954 right here in Falmouth, CCFCU has remained deeply committed to its members and community. I look forward to continuing that legacy while supporting our members, employees and the communities we serve.”

Cumberland County Federal Credit Union serves more than 22,000 members and operates branches in Portland, Westbrook, Yarmouth, Gray and Windham.
