GREENVILLE, S.C.–The collapse of a roof at a GE Aviation plant here has led to the temporary closure of a branch of Turbine FCU.
But thanks to the generosity of Carolina Foothills FCU, Turbine FCU is now operating out of temporary space inside one of CFFCU’s facilities just three miles from its main office.
No one was injured in the roof collapse, and the credit union’s offices are believed to have not been affected, but the plant has been shut down through at least July 3 with no access.
Turbine FCU has created emergency loans for employees who are temporarily out of work. The loans have no credit requirements. In addition, members with existing loans have been offered a 90-day extension.
