MEDFORD, Ore.–Rogue Credit Union has announced it will pay $4 million to members who are part of its Rogue Rewards Loyalty program.
This is the second year the $1.5-billion Rogue CU has offered the program, which is designed to encourage members to use more products and services.
“When you enroll in Dividend MAX from Rogue Rewards, your accrued monthly and rollover dividends are automatically transferred to your high-yield Ownership Account allowing you to maximize your savings,” Rogue CU announced to its members.
Unlike other credit unions that deposit bonus dividends and loan interest refunds to members’ savings or checking accounts, Rogue CU has created a separate Ownership Account into which the reward funds are deposited so that members are more aware of them.
In addition, members who sign up for the CU’s Save the Change program and who use their Rogue debit card have the purchase amount rounded up, with the funds also deposited into the Ownership Account. Rewards from its Visa Platinum card are similarly deposited.
