Rockland FCU Names New President & CEO to Succeed Retiring Thomas White

ROCKLAND, Mass.–Rockland Federal Credit Union has named a new president and CEO to succeed Thomas C. White, who is retiring after 29 years with the credit union.

Kristin P. VanBeek

The $2.7-billion Rockland FCU has selected Kristin P. VanBeek to lead the organization.  According to the Cooperative Credit Union Association, VanBeek’s career in the financial services industry stretches across more than two and a half decades, with the last 12 years as the president and CEO of the USAlliance Federal Credit Union in Rye, N.Y. During his tenure at USALLIANCE Financial, VanBeek led the organization to become a “progressive competitor” in the fintech space and in credit unions, the CCUA said.

Under his leadership USALLIANCE tripled in asset size to $2.7 billion and increased membership through strategic partnerships while expanding operations throughout New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maryland, and Florida, the association added.

Rockland FCU has approximately 189,000 members.

‘Amazing Organization’

"I am blessed to have been a part of such an amazing organization and proud of all that we've accomplished together over the past 11 years," VanBeek said in a statement on USAlliance’s website. "I hope to see and work towards both organizations growing stronger together as peers and partners in the coming months and years.”

USAlliance said it has launched a search for a successor.
