DOVER, Del. — Dover FCU is among those businesses here that have reserved a new parking spot for veterans.
Dover Federal recognized Army Veteran Phyllis D. Moore as being the first veteran to park in one of its dedicated Veteran Parking Only spaces.
“Our support of the military reflects our commitment to Dover Federal’s heritage as well as our appreciation for being provided the opportunity to serve the military and their families,” said Dover Federal’s Deb Jewell.
The initiative was launched and led by Elaine Pinkowski, professional and community liaison for Compassionate Care Hospice. Veteran Parking Only signs have been created and provided to local businesses.
