SANTA ROSA, Calif.–Redwood Credit Union said it has begun offering its members free access to their FICO scores, including information on the top factors affecting their scores, and comprehensive credit education.
The scores, which will be updated quarterly, are available through RCU’s secure online banking service to members who have loans or credit cards with the credit union, RCU said.
“We’re committed to helping our members achieve financial success,” said Ron Felder, executive vice president and chief lending officer at Redwood Credit Union, in a statement. “Providing members free access to their FICO scores is one way we can help them better understand what factors impact their credit score and their financial wellness.”
