HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Redstone FCU has made a $2.5-million donation to the Huntsville-Madison County Public Library.
It is the largest donation in the CU’s history and comes as three new libraries are being built in north Huntsville, south Huntsville and Madison.
“This is the largest donation that Redstone Federal Credit Union has ever given and the largest donation that the library has ever received and so I am incredibly excited today,” said Michelda Johnson, director of marketing for the Huntsville-Madison County Public Library.
Johnson says much of the idea behind the construction is to continue to live up to the library’s mission and be actively involved with students.
