TAMPA, Fla.–Railroad & Industrial FCU has a new name. The $440-million CU is now Trax FCU.
“The new brand ties back to the credit union’s railroad roots but with a fresh, modern eye toward the future,” the credit union said in a statement. “The name is derived from railroad tracks which run parallel to each other, just as the credit union stays side-by-side with members throughout their financial journey.”
With the new name comes a new website at www.TraxCU.com as well as a new online banking interface, newly branded debit/credit cards, and enhanced branches.
“Our credit union has been serving members for more than 85 years. Along the way we’ve seen the community change a lot,” said Trax FCU CEO Pete Giorgianni. “We decided to change our name in order to be more inclusive of all of our select employee groups and position us to serve generations to come.”
Added Marketing Director Jessica Stevenson, “Our members’ success is our success. This new brand identity speaks to our commitment to be side-by-side with our members throughout their financial journey.”
