ONTARIO, Calif.–The Richard Myles Johnson Foundation has introduced an app for its Bite of Reality financial education program.
The Foundation said it believes the app is the first of its kind for a credit union-sponsored reality fair program.
Bite of Reality is an interactive financial education simulation designed to teach young people how to manage money. The RMJ Foundation said the new app simplifies the program and also modernizes it, making it more relatable to young people while still providing the same life lessons the program always has done.
According to the Foundation, four credit unions have now moved away completely from the program’s original paper format to the app, and several others are beta-testing the app.
