WARWICK, R.I.—Credit unions in Rhode Island have voted 28-0 in favor of merging the Credit Union Association with the Massachusetts CU League and the New Hampshire CU League.
The latter two leagues have yet to vote on the merger, but if approved by all three the new entity will be called the Cooperative Credit Union Association. The three associations had been independent organizations operating under a joint management contract.
