OLYMPIA, Wash.–QCash Financial, a platform that hosts an automated, small-dollar “life event loan program” featuring approval in “under 60 seconds,” is reporting that by the end of August it will enable a partner credit union to fund the millionth loan on the platform.
“This means one-million families have been protected from cost-prohibitive predatory lenders by their trusted credit union through QCash,” stated the CUSO, which was acquired in April by Alloya Corporate from WSECU, which launched the company.
“We’re so thrilled to see that QCash Financial has provided a million loans through dozens of credit union partners, which save families money from predatory lenders in the cooperative way,” said WSECU President and CEO Gary Swindler. “Through a low-effort, fast-funding loan engine members are able to access funds 24/7 to support them through life stages that require quick solutions to everyday needs.”
‘Safe & Responsible’
Added Cathie Mahon, president and CEO of Inclusiv, “Inclusiv is so thrilled to partner with QCash on solutions that expand financial access and inclusion to low-income, underserved and cash-strapped consumers. Credit unions that have implemented the QCash platform are able to deliver safe and responsible emergency loans to their members in the moment they need them. Combining the ease and access of the QCash platform with the high-quality and consumer friendly lending of credit unions is a recipe for success for the institution and the consumer.”
