WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind.–Purdue FCU will host a family day event featuring members of Purdue University’s men’s basketball team, which played in the national championship game earlier this year, losing to UConn.
The credit union said people will be able to take photos, meet and get autographs from three players-- Braden Smith, Fletcher Loyer and Camden Heide--and more. The event will occur at PFCU’s Crown Point facility from 12-3 p.m. June 22.
The Family Day is free and open to the public and will offer carnival games, inflatables, free Kona Ice and arts and crafts.
“Kids will get the chance to ride on the Boilermaker Special train while all visitors can meet the Lake County Corn Dogs baseball team and their mascot Cornelius,” according to Purdue FCU, which said employees will also be on hand to answer any questions people may have about its products and services.
