Prognosis for Allied Healthcare FCU? Expanded FOM

LONG BEACH, Calif.–Allied Healthcare Federal Credit Union said it has been approved by NCUA to expand its field of membership to all employees, independent contractors and self-employed persons who work regularly in the healthcare industry in Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, Ventura, and Kern Counties in California. Both active and retired healthcare workers are eligible to join.

Previously, membership was only open to healthcare workers at select employee groups in Southern California.

“Allied Healthcare Federal Credit Union is pleased to offer our membership benefits to more healthcare workers,” said President/CEO Monica Lopez. “We’re committed to providing each of our members with ‘Financial Healthcare for Life’ and we do this by offering products and services that help members save money, promote financial literacy, and support a wide-range of financial needs for all stages of life.”

Founded in 1956, the $73-million Allied Healthcare FCU is preparing to open its fourth location to serve its approximately 6,000 members.
