ProFed President Adds CEO to the Title

Konstantina Baker

FORT WAYNE, Ind.––ProFed Credit Union has named a new CEO. The $569-million ProFed has added the CEO title to the role of Konstantina (Nina) G. Baker, who had been serving as president  since January 2020.

Prior to being named president, Baker had been executive vice president with ProFed since 2003, with direct responsibility for accounting, account management, deposit operations, BSA/fraud prevention, facilities, information technology, and marketing.

Baker began her career at ProFed Credit Union in 1985 as a teller handling member deposits and loan payments. By 1989, she had advanced to assistant vice president/data processing, supervising ProFed's Information Technology department, member service call center, and ATM/Visa department. In 1992, Baker was promoted to vice president/controller, and in 2001 was named chief operating officer. 

Baker also serves on the Indiana Credit Union League Board of Directors, Indiana Credit Union Foundation, and for the last 16 years has served on the Northeastern Indiana Credit Union Chapter board, serving as president from 2012 to 2020.

ProFed has more than 55,000 members.
