President Now Has 10 Days To Nominate Someone To Succeed Mulvaney At BCFP

Mick Mulvaney

WASHINGTON–President Trump now has 10 days to nominate someone to replace BCFP Acting Director Mick Mulvaney before he is required to leave the job and return to his other position as director of the Office of Management and Budget.

The Federal Vacancies Reform Act doesn’t require that a nominee be confirmed, only that a nominee be put forward.

Among those whose name continues to circulate as a potential leader for the BCFP is current NCUA Chairman Mark McWatters.
