Police Officer Struck By Vehicle, Shots Fired

ODENTON, Md.—A police officer was struck by a vehicle driven by a credit union robber and officers shot at the vehicle as it escaped.

The Anne Arundel County Police Department said the robbery took place at a branch of Navy FCU here and that the vehicle had been recovered. The vehicle was hit several times by the police officers’ shots, but the alleged robber was not. The unidentified robber has been taken into custody.
