Police Credit Social Media For Finding Robber

MOOSE JAW, Sask. – Police are crediting social media for helping to track down the alleged robber of a credit union branch here.

Moose Jaw Police said that after a branch of Conexus CU here was robbed around 10:45 in the morning by a man claiming to have a weapon, police posted pictures on social media from the credit union’s security cameras. Tips started flowing in shortly after, police said, and not long after that a 22-year-old suspect was arrested. The name of the suspect has yet to be released. It was the second time in a month the branch has been robbed.
