Police Arrest Man Charged With Using Blow Torch On ATMs

ROCKFORD, Wash. — Police have made an arrest here of a man charged with attempting to use a blow torch to break into ATMs.

The Spokane County Investigative Task Force said Kirk Fisher-Fulton, 29, has been arrested for attempting to burn his way into an ATM at Banner Bank in November 2017 and one week later at an ATM belonging to Numerica Credit Union in Spokane.

According to police, Fisher-Fulton pulled a torch from his backpack, lit the torch and burned the ATMs. In the case of the NCU ATM, an estimated $60,000 in damage occurred.

At the scene, police said they found items that matched descriptions of the suspect from the burned ATM in Rockford.
