Pennsylvania CUs’ ‘Voice’ To Be Heard

HARRISBURG, Penn.—The voice of Pennsylvania credit unions will be heard during season 8 of NBC’s top-rated signing competition.

Credit unions will be sponsoring NBC’s The Voice, the Pennsylvania CU Association reported.

In the Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Central Pennsylvania, and Johnstown/Altoona/State College media markets, the league’s media buyer, Target Media, has obtained an exclusive local sponsorship for the next season of The Voice, PCUA reported.

In Philadelphia, the sponsorship on WCAU NBC10 includes 30-second commercials within The Voice airing Mondays 8 p.m.-10 p.m. and Tuesdays 8 p.m.-9 p.m., customized local sponsor promos, and a digital campaign to run throughout the season. The digital campaign includes mobile ad units within NBC10’s iPhone and Android apps and mobile web, 15-second mobile pre-roll video, and mobile full-page ads.

In partnership with WPXI (NBC11) Pittsburgh, local credit unions will sponsor a contest where a lucky viewer will win two tickets to see The Voice in Los Angeles. Viewers will be encouraged to go to WPXI.comto register to win. Sponsorship includes iBelongcommercials in The Voice, sponsored TV promos, social media mentions, pre-roll on WPXI.com, a rich media element on the homepage of WPXI.com, and targeted ads running across mobile/digital platforms of WPXI and Google Display networks.

Credit unions in the Harrisburg/Lancaster/Lebanon/York media market will be featured in 15-second local sponsor promotions during The Voice, along with a lead-in message each Tuesday identifying Central Pennsylvania credit unions as the local sponsor. iBelong spots will run during The Voice from February 23 through May 19.

Johnstown/Altoona/State College credit unions will be the official local sponsor of The Voice with WJAC (NBC6) in the region. The sponsorship includes 30-second commercials within The Voiceairing Mondays 8 p.m.-10 p.m. and Tuesdays 8 p.m.-9 p.m., customized local sponsor promos, and a social campaign that includes e-blasts and Facebook posts to WJAC viewers. Additionally, local credit unions will sponsor the countdown clock on the WJAC Homepage leading up to both the premiere of The Voice on February 16 and the show’s finale on May 11.
