ALEXANDRIA, Va.—Pentagon Federal Credit Union reported its mortgage origination department generated $1.7-billion in first and second trusts during the first five months of 2015. A major part of PenFed’s mortgage team resides in Omaha, Neb., where it employs more than 400 employees.
