LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga.– Peach State FCU has launched a new website, www.PeachStateFCUStories.coop, in which it is seeking member stories.
A corresponding marketing campaign, “Everyone has a story. Tell yours at www.PeachStateFCUStories.coop,” has been launched this month with a goal to collect stories from the member’s perspective.
“The new website has become home to the various components that make up the Peach State story and the credit union’s mission as a financial cooperative to meet the needs and exceed the expectations of their member-owners,” the credit unions aid.
The site includes stories submitted by members, information about charitable initiatives throughout the community and more.
“Our members’ stories are the best way to tell the Peach State story,” said Kristen Patton, VP-marketing with Peach State FCU. “Their experiences are a testament to our dedication to helping people afford life and are true examples of the meaning of the credit union difference. These stories show other members how our products and services can work for them and will help keep Peach State top of mind for their present and future financial needs.”
The $335-million Peach State FCU said the site also aims to shed light on the credit union difference and assist the general public in understanding why credit unions are a better option than banks. It includes a “Cornerstones” page that outlines Peach State’s dedication to social responsibility through their Cornerstones of Commitment: Education, the Arts, Philanthropy and Growth from the Inside Out. The credit union’s charitable initiatives throughout the community are highlighted on the “Good Stuff” page, with a goal to inform members about the many good things that Peach State is doing to help them and their communities.
The corresponding marketing campaign is a call to action to Peach State members who have been helped in some way by the credit union, whether through their products and services, their financial literacy and support programs, or even a friendly Peach State staff member, the CU said.
Peach State FCU has kicked off a two-week long contest on the credit union’s Facebook page, where members will be encouraged to share their story for the chance to win one of three $300 VISA gift cards.
