SAN FRANCISCO—Payments platform Checkbook has entered said it is partnering with Visa to expedite disbursements to businesses, institutions, and individuals across endpoints nationally.
The collaboration is designed to leverage Visa Direct for real-time payments, enhancing the ability of Checkbook’s customers to send and receive funds quickly, Fintech Global reported.
According to the report, “Checkbook offers a payments platform that simplifies the sending of payments to just an email address or phone number. This system eliminates the need for recipients to create accounts, log in, download apps, or share sensitive bank details, streamlining the payment process significantly.
“This latest partnership builds on the previous collaborations between Checkbook and Visa, including Checkbook’s participation in the Visa FastTrack program in 2021 and the integration of Visa’s Virtual Card solutions,” Fintech Global said.
