MADISON, Wis.–The Global Women’s Leadership Network (GWLN) is hosting a “Pay to NOT Play” virtual event for golfer and non-golfers as a fundraiser for the organization.
Sponsored by Kinecta FCU, the event is being held in place of the usual golf tournament, due to the coronavirus pandemic.
To help raise funds, the GWLN is offering following options:
- Donate a foursome using the donor’s membership at a favorite course
- Bid on a foursome to play at the “golf course of your dreams.” Bids open in June and begin at $2,000
- Purchase a ticket for $500 and skip the golf, and instead enjoy a 2020 virtual GWLN 19th Hold Happy Hour. The ticket purchase offers one of two grand prizes: a complimentary registration to the 2021 World CU Conference in Glasgow, Scotland, or a golf foursome at an elite, membership-only course
- Buy a general ticket for $100 to help support the advancement of credit union women
