ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.–PSCU has announced its final keynote speaker and the participants of its Credit Union Executive Panel at its Member Forum 2022, set for April 26-28 at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas.
Tim Salau, “Mr. Future of Work,” will round out the list of keynote speakers at this year’s annual event, PSCU said.
“Having established himself as a global tech influencer, community leader and expert on the future of work and innovation, Salau currently serves as chairman and CEO of the global lifestyle brand Guide,” PSCU noted. “In past roles, he has championed inclusive innovation and led product development at top Fortune 500 and hyper-growth companies including Google, Facebook, WeWork and Microsoft.”
Panel Participants
In addition, participants on the Credit Union Executive Panel, which will be moderated by financial services veteran Mark Sievewright, founder and CEO of Sievewright & Associates, will include:
- Maria J. Martinez, president and CEO of Border FCU in Del Rio, Texas), which has over $200 million in assets and more than 25,000 members. Martinez is an associate director of the PSCU board and serves on the CUNA Board. She is a founding member and vice president of the Credit Union Women’s Leadership Alliance, a founding member and the Chairwoman of the National Association of Latino Credit Unions & Professionals and a member of the CU DEI Collective. She serves on the CUNA Strategic Services Board and volunteers with other boards and committees.
- Mark Robnett, president and CEO of Justice FCU in Chantilly, Va., which has assets of more than $943 million and more than 60,000 members. As a former CIO, Mark uses his technical prowess to lead Justice Federal into the digital future. He serves on the PSCU board as an Associate Director and also serves on the Justice FCU Board of Directors, CUES Board of Directors and Array Credit Union Advisory Board, PSCU said.
- Chris Shockley, president and CEO of Virginia Credit Union in Richmond, Va., which holds more than $4.9 billion assets and has more than 310,000 members. His extensive community involvement includes serving as chair of the Credit Union Service Company of Virginia as well as board service with the YMCA of Greater Richmond and the MS Society of Virginia and West Virginia.
- Amy Sink, CEO of Interra Credit Union in Goshen, Ind., which has approximately $1.6 billion in assets and serves more than 87,000 members. Sink has a long history of engagement in the credit union industry, serving on the CUNA State Chartered subcommittee and the Indiana Governmental Affairs Committee, PSCU said. She is currently active as a board member for Alloya Corporate FCU in Naperville, Ill., Members Development Corporation Board, Indiana Credit Union League board and the PSCU board of directors.
‘Diverse Set of Insights’
“We are extremely pleased to add these speakers to this year’s Member Forum lineup. Each of their impressive backgrounds will allow for a diverse set of insights and perspectives, and we look forward to hearing what they – along with our other outstanding speakers – have to share,” said Dean Young, EVP, chief experience officer at PSCU. “We are also eager to return to an in-person event in Las Vegas and look forward to seeing everyone following a two-year virtual hiatus.”
Other keynote speakers at the PSCU event include Drew Brees, former New Orleans Saints quarterback and co-founder of the Brees Dream Foundation; Jewel, an award-winning, multi-platinum recording artist and mental health advocate; Anders Sörman-Nilsson, global futurist and innovation strategist; and Linda Kirkpatrick, president of North America for Mastercard. In addition, the closing party for Member Forum 2022 will be headlined by Ezra Ray Hart, featuring Mark McGrath of Sugar Ray, Kevin Griffin of Better Than Ezra and Emerson Hart of Tonic.
