ST. LOUIS— PSCU has formed a new company it said will be a leading-edge platform and redefine digital banking for credit unions. Called Lumin Digital the cloud-based digital banking platform has been built using market-leading technology, and will provide members of PSCU-owner credit unions with a tightly integrated and customized experience that rivals the offerings available from the big banks, according to PSCU.
“As a PSCU company, Lumin Digital’s offering provides seamless access to a wide array of PSCU platforms and services including card services, data analytics, and call center support,” the company said.
PSCU President and CEO Chuck Fagan made the announcement of the new offering during his opening remarks at the company’s annual Member Forum, currently underway in St. Louis, Mo.
PSCU said Lumin Digital’s platform, built over the past 16 months, is designed to drive member engagement; provide data-driven insights and predictions allowing credit unions to offer personalized experiences; improve measurable outcomes; and ultimately increase revenue by creating deeper connections with members. It will allow PSCU owners to effectively compete with digital channel powerhouses by providing a comprehensive, integrated suite of capabilities built with the industry’s most sophisticated technologies, the CUSO said.
“With the advancement of technologies and increasing digital adoption, we’re excited to launch a digital banking platform that provides our owners with a robust, tightly integrated solution to expand relationships with their members and rival digital experiences available from larger banks,” said Fagan.
According to PSCU, platform capabilities will include:
- Mobile applications and online banking that allow members to do nearly all of their banking through the digital channel, with the ultimate integration to PSCU credit/debit card services and call center support.
- Increased member engagement through a proprietary engagement model that provides highly targeted, actionable, and unique digital interactions to help credit unions create a truly personalized journey and connected relationship.
- The latest technologies and best practices, such as automated continuous deployments that allow credit unions to offer exceptional user experiences across platforms and the industry’s most sophisticated SDK.
“The new platform will empower the credit union industry to set the stage in raising standards for service integration, platform extensibility, unified self-service tools, and cloud-based infrastructures that currently are not offered in the credit union market,” PSCU said.
“Through action-based and real-time delivery capabilities, credit unions can take their financial service offerings and seamless member service experience to a new level by developing deeper connections with their members through this new digital offering,” said Fagan.
