PNC Music Pavilion Renamed Truliant Amphitheater In New Naming Rights Deal

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The concert venue long known as the PNC Music Pavilion is being renamed Truliant Amphitheater under a new naming rights agreement with Truliant Federal Credit Union, according to reporting by The Charlotte Observer.

The $5.2-billion Winston-Salem-based credit union announced Thursday that it has become the naming rights partner for the venue, marking the first concert facility to carry the Truliant name. The amphitheater is located on Pavilion Boulevard in Charlotte’s University City area near the U.S. 29–Interstate 485 interchange and is operated by Live Nation.

Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed. Pittsburgh-based PNC Bank had held the naming rights to the venue for the past 12 years.

In a statement to The Charlotte Observer, PNC regional president Weston Andress said the partnership helped build the bank’s brand and community connections in Charlotte. As the naming rights transition to Truliant, Andress said PNC remains committed to the region and plans to reinvest in initiatives that strengthen its presence and impact in the community.
