HARRISBURG, Penn.–The Pennsylvania CU Association has introduced a new campaign that encourages credit union leaders, professionals, and others to support credit union advocacy by making “micro-donations.”
The PCUA’s new CU Stand Up campaign “calls upon everyone in the credit union movement, from the credit union CEO to the credit union member and even the Association, to stand up for Pennsylvania’s credit unions this election year.”
To participate in CU Stand Up, people are being asked to donate $20.16 to the Association’s political action committee.
“Once you donate, head over to Twitter or Facebook and post a short video or message saying you donated,” the PCUA is urging. “Share with us your story, and why you are donating.”
Those making donations are also being encouraged to tag a friend or coworker in the post and challenge them to follow their lead.
