PAHO/WHO FCU Pays Out Bonus Dividend

WASHINGTON– PAHO/WHO Federal Credit Union has announced a 2020 bonus dividend paid of more than $285,000. The payout went to more than 5,100 members. 

PAHO/WHO FCU reported members received 4% of their dividends earned in 2020 on their savings, checking and certificate accounts as well as 4% on the interest paid on loans.

The minimum bonus dividend awarded to every PAHO/WHO FCU member in good standing was $15.

“Our mission is to help the members of the global health community live better, healthier financial lives. Part of that commitment involves sharing in the success of the credit union,” said CEO said Miguel Boluda, Jr. “Giving back an annual bonus dividend is our way of showing our appreciation to our members who use us the most, exhibiting their trust and belief in our credit union.”

The $250-million PAHO/WHO FCU has paid out an annual bonus dividend for 20 years, including paying out more than $1.8-million over the past three years.
