WASHINGTON– PAHO/WHO FCU has launched Bienestar Financial Advisors to offer investment advisory and financial planning services to its members.
The new service is being offered through LPL Financial, LLC.
PAHO/WHO FCU said it was seeking to enhance its offerings and “provide a more robust, personalized approach to members’ financial planning needs.”
“In Spanish Bienestar means wellness and prosperity,” the $290-million credit union said. “The name Bienestar Financial Advisors was selected to reflect the natural extension of PAHO/WHO FCU’s commitment to serving the global health community. For the first time, members can get investment advisory and personalized management based on their real-life goals with advisors who can help pinpoint the financial vehicles that best meet their retirement needs.”

Added President and CEO Miguel Boluda, Jr., “With 75 years of proudly serving the global health community, we recognize the vital connection between financial health and overall wellness. The credit union has approximately 8,100 members.
