OXFORD, Maine–Oxford Federal Credit Union has named a new president and CEO to succeed Matt Kaubris, who is retiring.
The $296.7-million Oxford FCU has named Joann Bisson to lead the organization. Bisson has served as executive VP for the past year in a role that was specifically created as part of the credit union’s succession plan.
Bisson joined Oxford FCU in January of 2022, bringing more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, including eight years served as CEO at Trademark FCU.
“Joann has embraced the culture and fully supports our mission to support financial wellness in our communities,” stated Board Chairman David LeClerc in a statement to the Maine Credit Union League.
An ‘Honor’
Added Bisson, “I am honored to represent Oxford Federal Credit Union as its next president and CEO. This year we will celebrate 85 years as stewards of our members’ trust and finances, and we’ll continue to focus on service and soundness for many more.”
The credit union has more than 18,000 members.
