EUGENE, Ore.–Oregon Community Credit Union reported it is now providing members access to direct deposit funds sooner.
When members use direct deposit for their paychecks, OCCU said funds may be available up to three days earlier.
“Direct deposit already makes payday easy and convenient,” the credit union said. “But now, when a member enrolls in direct deposit for their paychecks through OCCU, the funds could hit their accounts up to three days sooner than previously, thanks to streamlined processing and automation.”
The $3-billion OCCU said it is providing the option to all members who can use a consumer or business checking account, savings account, money market accounts and more to receive their funds via direct deposit.
There is no cost and no need to enroll beyond having direct deposit already set up with OCCU, the credit union said.
OCCU has approximately 247,000 members.
