PHOENIX–OneAZ Credit Union said it is partnering with the State Forty Eight Foundation on a new partnership that “aims to uplift and empower small businesses and entrepreneurs across Arizona.”
The State Forty Eight Foundation describes its mission as driving “local innovation through support and empowerment of Arizona entrepreneurs.”
As part of this collaboration, OneAZ said it will serve as the 2024 Local Financial Partner of the State Forty Eight Foundation, and that OneAZ President/CEO Brandon Michaels will join the foundation’s board.
“Entering into this partnership with the State Forty Eight Foundation is a strategic move that aligns seamlessly with OneAZ’s commitment to inspiring dreams and fostering growth in our communities,” Michaels said in a statement. “I am deeply honored to accept a position on the board of directors of the State Forty Eight Foundation. This role presents a unique opportunity to help guide the Foundation’s strategic initiatives, support small businesses, and cultivate a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem throughout Arizona.”
Mission Alignment
The credit union said the foundation’s mission aligns its efforts to support local establishments, contributing to not only the success of the state’s economy, but also to the communities these organizations serve.
The two organizations noted small businesses, comprise 99.5% of all Arizona establishments and totaling 650,151 in the Valley.
