One Person is Banned From Credit Unions

ALEXANDRIA, Va. – NCUA issued one prohibition order in June. The individual is prohibited from participating in the affairs of any federally insured financial institution.

Issued the prohibition order was Linda D. Landry, a former institution-affiliated party of Southeast Texas Employees Federal Credit Union in Orange, Texas. Landry has agreed and consented to the issuance of a prohibition order and agreed to comply with all of its terms to settle and resolve the NCUA board’s claims against her.

Violation of a prohibition order is a felony offense punishable by imprisonment and a fine of up to $1 million.
