GREENFIELD, Wis.–One man was killed and another injured here as part of utility work near a facility of Landmark Credit Union that is under construction. According to Greenfield police, the cause of the death and the injury was electrocution.
The two men were subcontractors, according to WTMJ.
Fire crews found a 36-year-old man dead inside the bucket of his truck. His co-worker, a 36-year-old man was injured trying to rescue him, WTMJ said. He was found on the ground and was transported to Froedtert Hospital. His condition is unknown.
We Energies had to cut power to the entire grid so that crews could safely access the man who died, the report added.
WTMJ added the incident remains under investigation. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration, known as OSHA, is leading the investigation with the help of Greenfield police.
